I don't think the incident itself was funny - if someone did that to one of our cats I'd want them to be punished (lie, I'd want to hit them myself) but I find all of the fuss around it hysterical. The woman has been getting death threats. Death threats. All of the terrible things that go on in the world directed at humans and people are threatening murder over an incident that wasn't all that serious (I've seen cats shot with air rifles).
Saying that, I do think the woman needs mental help of some kind. Why would you do that?

I agree, it's disgusting what she did. Household pets go in the BROWN bin!

I think she should get some kind of punishment. A large fine, in to the 1000s and something like community service.

I find it awful what that woman done, but can see the funny side.
As punishment goes, think she has already got her just deserts, she is goingh to be huranged in the street for a long time, then she has to face family, friends and colleagues.

I'm not a cat lover but it wouldn't even have crossed my mind.
I like the way she hurried off down the street looking anxiously over her shoulder but failed to spot the two CCTV cameras!
I wonder if she has children and how she treats them?!
