I thought we were rid of Cats for once and for all. Things seem to be going downhill these days.
WOW, I love cats and all, but im not sure i like the concept, it could be interesting, but i feel without someone like Cam Mac behind it, it won't come out good.
And yes i would not mind seeing Cats again, I just dont think it needs to take up a Broadway theatre at this time.
I mean maybe in like fifty years to do some deconstructed reexamining. But now?

"Pix and resumes may be submitted to the ASPCA."
Funny.
BTW, has anyone noticed that ASPCA and ASCAP are acronyms?

Yeah, it was an MGM (??) movie done around 1956 with June Allyson, Ann Miller, Dolores Gray, et.al. I don't believe that it was ever done as a stage show and the score wasn't all that great. Straying (bad pun, I know) from the topic at hand, in 1955 there was a TV version with Shelley Winters doing the Joan Crawford role. I would love to see that.
I say have all the cats neutered and that will be the end!

I've never liked Cats...but I might just have to go see the new staging out here in California. A couple of reviews are in and it looks promising. (Still waiting on the AllThatChat review.)
