Kind of shocked when I went on craigslist looking for music gigs and found this in the NYC forum under "talent gigs".

I have to wonder who would post this…a rival composer? Bitter performer who got fired? Very intrigued.

Jeez, I took a job like this for $20 a few weeks ago. I should have checked the current market rate more carefully before I said yes.

Good point but I think it also might be because we have a really weak union. I think the National Federation of Cabaret Show Disruptors (NFCSD) is the union we should have voted in. They take care of their members.
