What would be your celebrity casting of Aida?
Just a thought- I know it will be probablly ripped to shreads but i think it would be hilarious-
Radames- Justin Timberlake
Amneris-Christiana Aguilera
Aida- Beyonce

I have always wanted to see Lauryn Hill as Aida, Nick Lachey as Radames and Jessica Simpson as Amneris.

celebrity casting DID kill that show. the one celeb aida who i approved of was deb. cox. she was really qualified, and did a great job, agreed, emcee?

I approved because she could sing the sh*t out of those songs. The acting..... pft. She pointed at everything.

Cues: Points at Adam, points at self, points off stage at Lisa, then points back at Adam.

I think that Deborah sang really well as Aida... I just loved the last cast I ever saw

But I never ever plan to listen to the celebrity version of Aida. I think it would just kill the show for me... unless I would only listen to Deborah Cox as Aida on the CD, but her songs would be the only ones.
Most celebrities and broadway do NOT mix well
