I just.... don't.... pft. No. It's like a jungle on his head, and it's making me really scared.
don't worry, em..im frightened too...
but i take comfort in knowing that adam is a cool cat, and it is for the movie, and it is probably only half way done growing, so it'll look ok...i hope

Breathe, hon. Maybe it looks better in person? Maybe they'll get some make-up people to work on it? There is hope.
Adam is a cool cat, indeed.
I still think that Alicia Keys would be excellent.
Here's my cast (just for kicks)
Aida - ALICIA KEYS
Amneris - JESSICA SIMPSON
Radames - Not sure. GAVIN DeGRAW?
Zosar - BILLY IDOL
Alicia Keys would be great just sitting on a stage smiling.
But Jessica Simpson...ew. I prefer she stays in her own tooth-whitened Louis Vuitton world and out of my favorite medium.
yay for Kimmygonbefamous!
I agree with you 100%... leave Jessica Simpson at home with her stupidity and keep her away from broadway
RENThead, enLIGHist, Ozalot, Grobanite, Ringer, Pickwick LW, Wicked, Lost, American Dreams, West Wing
Lea S. Hugh J. Adam P. Idina M. Matt M. Taye D.
While the show was running, I remember her name popping up quite a bit for someone who might be good as Amneris. She wouldn't have to do any acting, that's for sure.
I still think Beyonce would kick the sh!t out of Easy As Life.

No stunt casting EVER again! Especially for Aida! Don't even wanna think about it!
Well, I don't think we have to worry about Aida anymore, anyway.
Hey...I think Jessica Simpson is ditzy and all that.....but as a singer she has the right voice for Amneris...and she is gorgeous...she's got the princess look. I would love to hear her version of "Everystory is a love story" she can hit all the notes.
Thank you, Muscle.
Personal feelings for her aside, I would like to see how Simpson would do in that part. Her "Strongest Suit" would rock!
I think she could sing it, but probably only really well once in a blue moon. I'm not sure she's got the vocal stamina for eight shows a week, regardless of the musical.
Not only that, but it actually takes a smart woman to play a dumb blonde on stage. Real dumb blondes can get away with it on film maybe, but the stage is different.
And, she's not really as dumb as we originally thought.
Well, when I put down a 'dream cast', I don't really think about who could handle it all week. I just put who I would like to see in the role. You know?
Yeah, I know. I was just saying realisitically, since I remember a ton of rumours about her when the show was still running.
Realistically, I would never have mentioned her. Lord knows her voice couldn't handle it.
This thread makes me sad.

I liked Deborah too....but perhaps my expectations were low...or she was just really good...
Vocally, I think she was my favourite. The acting needed help, but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't hate her.

Her acting was better than most popstars...
It seems she and Joey are probably the best popstars turned B'way actors...

Right, her acting was good... for a pop star.
