Has anyone ever bumped into an celebs on the street or know of an celeb hot spots in the city?
I saw Kerry Bulter at Millie last monday she was seeing the show I think thats cool!
I (literally) ran into Bill Joel on the street. And then about 20 minutes later, I saw him at the Neil Simon theatre (we were both seeing Hairspray, how weird). I also saw Kristen Johnson from 3rd Rock from the Sun at Hairspray. And apparently when I saw "Gypsy," Kirsten Dunst was there, but I didn't see her.
yea Kristen was at Wicked when i went! And i heard Nicole Kidman was there the other night
I have seen Woody Allen lots of times on the street and once in Central Park. Frank Langella in Bloomingdale's, Lena Horne in Sak's and Rod Stewart holding a little maltese dog on Central Park South. I worked in a doctor's office and saw over the years saw many celebrities: Richard Gere, Mick Jagger, Abba Eban, Donald O'Connor, Farrah Fawcett (she blew her nose in a tissue and left it on the counter ewww) lots of others I can't remember right now. My all time favorite celebrity patient was Bob Fosse who was so very nice.

Last Thursday, I saw Bebe Neuwirth in a diner in the Village. It was about 11 pm and she was sitting by herself. She was wearing her hair in pigtails.
Im from Maine and used to run into Martha Stewart all the time. That woman is evil.

What I need from you, thirdrowcenter, are the exact locations of places frequented by Woody Allen - I must, must meet him! :)
Roger Bart lives in my neighborhood. I see him on the street fairly regularly. I have never seen him when he is NOT talking on his cell phone.
Rex Reed, Shelly Winters and Farley Granger live down the block from me, as does Vitaphone star Sylvia Froos. She introduced the great song "Broadway's Gone Hillbilly" in STAND UP AND CHEER, but was overshadowed by that Temple kid.
Jane Powell lives a few blocks away and used to go to Barry's gym. He told me that she was a regular on the Stairmasters and did lots of stretching and yoga...and that she had fantastic legs. And yes, in person she's as sweet as you can imagine.

I saw Al Pacino walking down the sidewalk outside Lincoln Center. I also sat next to Donald Trump at Les Miz.
oooo i wonder if money flies out if you hit him. lol
I'm not in NY, but Garret Anderson (the baseball player...I think for the Angels but I'm not a big baseball fan) used to live on my street.
When I went to see GYPSY...John Lithgow and the Giffords were there.

I see Jennifer Laura Thompson all the time in my area. One would assume she lives near me. Who knows? Maybe she just really likes the upper west side and the diners up here. LOL.
I used to see Jane Krakowski a lot, too. I see people all the time up here... all the Broadway peeps reside up here... it's the happening place. Okay, not really. I SUPPOSE that would be the village or chelsea. Whatever! :)
I've seen people ranging from Jason Robert Brown to Hayley Mills. LOL. They're everywhere! :)

It was so long ago, I remember it was in Central Park and we waved hi to him and he wasn't friendly at all. I can't remember where I saw him eating a slice of pizza in the street. I think it was near Blooomingdale's.
I sat behind Sean Connery at Woody's play "Writer's Block" this summer. Sean and I were both not thrilled with the play.
This morning I saw Gene Simmons from KISS. Keep in mind this is at eight o'clock in the morning. I was checking out of the hotel I had stayed at overnight (MGM Grand in Las Vegas where I live) after seeing the Kiss and Aerosmith concert. I turned around and he was right there and he winked and smiled at me. Oy vey.

A cast member from Aida introduced me to David Arquette ouside of the Palace Stage door and Colin Mockery,(Whose Line), was at an Aida performance. My neice said "hello" to him and he was quite nice, really.

Mike Myers sat right behind me at The Producers, Joan Collins was at Hairspray, Rosie O'Donnell at a bunch of places. Hillary Clinton at Aida,.... Lisa Marie Presley, Donahue, and Kevin Costner and clan at The Lion King....all the same night. Christopher Meloni works out at my gym...see him all the time.
There's a bunch more, but can't think right now.

Defying Gravity...
David Arquette wasn't at the show, I don't think. He was just waiting outside of the stage door for one of the actors. That was last October. Actually, I remember it was October 5th because it was the Saturday before Idina's Ocotber 7th concert.
Colin Mockery was there uh...Let's see...It was the first week of March in 2002. I had taken my niece, my "honorary niece" and one of their friends on a whirlwind weekend trip to the city after they harassed me for five hours straight.

I used to see Alec Baldwin coming home from the gym all the time when I lived on the UWS. This was back in the day when:
1. he was married to Kim Basinger; and
2. looked Hottie McHott in spandex shorts and no shirt.
