So we've all heard about the Les Miserables revival coming to Broadway in the fall. While there has been no mention of who will be performing in the cast, I say we start to speculate...

Who would love to see Celia Keenan-Bolger as Eponine? Or Cosette for that matter?

Celia is amazing, she'd be great.

Celia would probably be a good Eponine.

I would LOVE to see that. =) She's an amazing performer, as long as it doesn't interfer with her being Ariel in Little Mermaid (*wink*)

Do you think she would be a wonderful Glinda? Or even replace Katie Clark in Piazza and play the role she originated?

If Jessica Simpson gets this role I will swear off musical theater for the rest of my life...

As much as she should a highly doubt she would

After listening to Kelli O'Hara on Chatterbox it seems as of time of that recording Celia had never been to see Piazza because of the whole recasting for Broadway business. Why go back to something that caused a professional hurt?

Plus wouldnt Adam Guettel's reasons for recasting the role of Clara still apply a year later for the tour? Celia is terrific and sure she will be around in over new works or revivals after the Bee comes to and end.

I thought Celia left Piazza chose to follow Spelling Bee's path to Broadway, as opposed to Piazza?

That is definitely not the story as Kelli O'Hara told Seth on his show.

What was Kelli's version of the story?

Let me preface this by saying that I think Celia Keenan-Bolger is incredibly talented, but I don't think she has the vocal capabilities to make the score of Light In The Piazza really soar.

I assume most people who saw her in one of the tryouts, and saw or heard Kelli would be able to agree on that aspect. She played Clara very differently than O'Hara and Katie Clarke, and it was an interesting performance that I enjoyed, but I think there are other singers who have voices better suited to the music.

And besides, Celia will have a long career without having to revisit Piazza.

Celia would make a FABULOUS Eponine!
