Wow. Fast exit from 'Bee'... though, I'm sure she told them a while ago that she would be leaving. Just left the public announcement until now.
Congrats to Celia! I'm sorely tempted to see this revival now...

i'm sure there will be a cast recording... cameron mackintosh records EVERYTHING he produces.
oh and uh... yeah, kate wetherhead would have been a great replacement for olive, but yes, she does cover other roles and she is leaving in november i believe because she is doing legally blonde which opens in april and has an out of town tryout beforehand.

Like the Australian Rent, the OBC of Phantom, and the American cast of Martin Guerre, right?

But he probably didn't record OBC Phantom because the leads were the same from the London Cast, no?
In any case, it probably depends on how successful the revival is, right? I know it doesn't necessarily mean they'll make a recording if is successful but I can't imagine they'll make it if the show receives a lukewarm 'welcome back.'

Posted: 8/30/06 at 1:38pmAww - My favorite Eponine, Jessica Snow-Wilson, takes on Olive, while Celia moves upward and onward to play Eponine. Round and round we go!
re: Celia is Eponine#85
Posted: 8/30/06 at 2:30pmDoes anyone have any idea when she'll be contracted through? At least Christmastime, right?

I agree that wherever or not there will be a cast recording depends on how well the cast, and the whole production, is received. I am hoping for the best. If Celia really sells "On My Own," it will help the cause IMO.

Posted: 8/31/06 at 7:07pmYay! She was really good as Olive and I've seen clips of her in LITP and she was almost better than Kelli O'Hara there! Can't wait to see it now!
