Jai fudged the words to "Popular" during Standing Ovations. Did he get them right this time? (and I mean that with all due respect---that is a HARD song to remember the words to!)

Actually, she changed her mind and sang "I'm Not That Girl" instead, and it was lovely.
And I didn't notice if Jai flubbed anything...if he did, he played it off perfectly. The number went over great.

I have no doubt that Erika ripped her number up - and equally no doubt that it went over well with the composer. There are worse things than to be able to give a great performance that's well-received in front of one of the most successful composers working today

DG: You are too sweet. And yep, he really enjoyed the evening, which was great and very gratifying.
bluroses: I think some video of Eden and Megan is already up on YouTube. Sadly, no-one was actually manning the "official" camera taping the evening, so more than 3/4 of my song wasn't recorded, as I performed it in the audience. Oh, well.

One thing missing, with all that powerhouse talent, more duets or group number, or more harmonies in background. The little bit that was sung to backup William Katt was magical! They have a myspace page that they post videos as well.

hehehe... That was me, Ryan, and Shelly singing backup - hey, that's your name! As for the lack of duets, the show was so long already, with so many performers, and they all wanted to solos, so he had to cut some things. But hey, there still were two duets, two big numbers with the gospel choir, and our little backup moment, so there ya go.
