Cher's EGOT?

Cher is a Tony short of a full EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) award suite. She is a producer on "The Cher Show". If it wins Best Musical, does Cher get a Tony as a producer? That would complete the set, would it not?

 

What do you think are the chances of "The Cher Show" winning Best Musical?

Unless Tootsie changes everything that made it good, I don’t think theres a good chance.

Yes, the producers of the winning Best Musical receive the Tony. Cher will not be receiving a Tony this coming year.

Having see The Cher Show, Tootsie (and Pretty Woman), I can't see how The Cher Show beats Tootsie - especially given all the changes they've made to please the tourist crowd.

Even The Prom has a better chance. I thoroughly enjoyed The Cher Show, but a Tony-winning Best Musical it ain't.

I love Cher and immensely enjoyed the Cher Show but it's not like Beautiful and overall I think The Prom has a better chance of winning Best Musical over Cher Show. I still haven't seen Tootsie though.

CHER is one of the producers but The Cher Show won't be winning Best Musical! At this point, I would say TOOTSIE takes the WIN for Best Musical based on buzz and reviews oot but we still have some surprises that could sneak in late this season!

I can just feel Cher begging Bob Mackie to put a half-loop stitch on China silk just so she can share the Costume Design Tony.
