Just got home from Xanadu, everyone freaked when Cheyenne came out. I read he wasn't going on until Friday. He rocked!
I'd heard last night he was going on tonight. Was this the first time you saw the show? I'm curious to hear from others that saw it tonight and had seen it already.

I have to say Jackson was pretty darn good! He played Sonny pretty relaxed and a 'chill' sort of guy. His timing was really good and he used even his speaking voice really well. His deep, throaty voice on some of the lines was just priceless! I don't really know how to compare him to James or Curtis, he was different enough, but kept to Sonny. He really was awesome.
At one point he forgot his line and said "I need the muse of forgotten lines!" ALl at once the cast said "Cult!" And he said, "Only one, one person!" He continued on once he found his line and was great. He seemed more and more comfortable as the show went on.
Also, the wheels on his skates are tiny, I'm guessing because he is such a big guy. Oh man, he was good. =]
(Sorry for typos...)
YAY Cheyenne! I love that man!

Hah! What a smooth cover! I would love to have been there.

That is the best cover I've heard in a long time, almost as priceless as when I saw a production of Miss Saigon in which Kim had to cover up for the fact that Tam was laughing at the fact Thuy was threatening her.

MIGHT BE A SPOILER BELOW!
Throuhout the show the muses talk in unison and just the way they all said "Cult!" at the same time was hysterical, it really fit in.
you're making me wanna go see this again! how was the stage door?

Stage door wasn't crowded, I didn't stick around for Cheyenne, but there weren't many people there.
OMIGOD YOU GUYS! Clumsy steps out for one night and suddenly Cheyenne goes on EARLY.
Way to go Cheyenne! :)
Glad to hear he rocked it.

The Orchestra was filled as far as I could tell.
Cheyenne didn't really go on early. I'm pretty sure this was considered a 'put in' where they stick him in for a rehearsal type deal with the whole cast and everything.
Up In Lost- Your post made my night/day [It's 1:00 am here in Jersey.]
God, I wish I would have been there.
Clumsy needs a trip to Xanadu!
Whose with me!? :)
I think I'm going tomorrow! I've never seen Cheyenne live.

He is VERY good !!! What a voice !!!
*** SPOILER ***
Obsessed... was it me, or did they switch the "Les Mis" line? --- last week, Tony Roberts said it--- tonight, it was Mary Testa !!

It's been Mary when I've seen it.
I'm thinking of seeing this show next week... Cheyenne will be in next weekend, correct?
Also, can anyone tell me what the onstage seating is like, and if it would be worth it to see the show for the first time from those seats?

Saw it last night, Cheyenne is completely perfect in the role. I can't remember the last time I laughed so much.
