I imagine Robyn Hurder will be making a return as Velma Kelly, after a proper rest following SMASH.

possibly. or as others have mentioned, she'd be a good Madeline in Death Becomes Her when Hilty leaves.

Scirrotto's last day was yesterday. He's not returning this time. Lane will still u/s Billy Flynn but not Amos(they already have three covers). Sam Sturm will be a Roxie u/s.

James T Lane. Whoever plays Harry also plays the Jury.

As the beloved musical turns 50, Bebe Neuwirth, Ashlee Simpson, Michelle Williams, Ariana Madix and others open up on the ever-seductive role.

Anyone attend the 50th Anniversary Chicago concert yesterday at 54 Below? All original cast members were there plus several OBC members from the revival and a few current cast members.
It was out together by the organization "Dancers Over 40".

"All original cast members" were there? Must've been a hell of a show -- considering that so many of them are dead. Was there a seance??

Should have stated all living original cast members... I believe 8 were listed and appeared. Surprised Bebe Neuwirth wasn't there.

I think the original Broadway cast album was a classic, and the 2002 movie musical is always a classic starring Catherine Zeta Jones, Queen Latifah, Renee Zellweger, and others. "Cell Block Tango", "All I Care About", and "All That Jazz" were the highlights. Just know, Chicago was a Broadway classic for years to come.

Welp, that was quick. Charlotte is leaving the show this Sunday. She was also out this past weekend but was on last night. Dylis Croman returns Monday.

When I recently saw the show, I was surprised not to see Rachel Chase in the cast list. Is she away permanently? Looking at Playbill, I noticed that Arian Keddell just returned to the show and will resume being an understudy for Marton Mama Morton (along with Samantha Sturm and Celina Nightengale). I'll miss Rachel Chase, as she often posted on social media.

I kid you not; just saw on Tik Tok that Theresa Giudice from Jersey Housewives has been asked to play Morton.

Geez. Please, no!!
I'm shocked they don't have a name coming in this summer. Their grosses have been terrible lately. Pam Anderson? Ashley Graham again? Or has the well run dry? All of the current leads are there through August 10, so they should have a cast shake up on August 11. And why wasn't James T Lane given Amos again since Greg Hildreth left yesterday? Dumbfounding.

Gosh, they will be scraping the bottom of the barrel if they get that Theresa person. Maybe Ariana M. can make a return. I personally would love to see Nick Adams get a try at Billy Flynn.

Casting Theresa Guidice is an odd choice considering Bravo has pulled Housewives of New Jersey from their programming and are allegedly in the process of rebooting it or replacing with the Rhode Island franchise. It’s not like when they cast Erika Jayne from Beverly Hills while she was actively filming, and you have the nice bump of cross promotion.
Maybe they hope her time in prison will bring a more believable performance?
In all seriousness…you’re telling me they went from the killings of Pamela Anderson and Jinkx Monsoon to…former reality personalities? Yikes.

J.London is Mary Sunshine for 34 performances starting July 10 until August 3rd. Usually, Jayke Workman fills in as the Mary Sunshine standby....though it's kind of interesting that Workman is not included in the understudy/standby list in Playbill.

Workman is not the vacation Mary Sunshine this time. Jayke is involved in another project currently.

I vaguely remember that David Bushman might have played the role once, during the summer of 2018.

Bushman could end up cover it for a week and a half. Workman would be available starting July 21.

I love Pamela Anderson’s emergence back into the spotlight a bit more and thought her Roxie was a delightful time - one of those endearing yet energetic performances that paid homage to Pamela’s quirky personality as well as stay true to Roxie’s character. I’d love to see her back for a bit with another bigger name as Billy or Mama - a Pamela/Jinx combo would have been a TON of fun while only really bringing up the production.
