it will be nice to hear her seasoned phrasing in the ballads like "Not Exactly Paris."
So excited! I am particularly looking forward to "I Won't Dance" and as mentioned "Not exactly Paris". She is such a treasure!
Cover!
can't wait.
Aw, I was hoping for some Chita and Sondheim pairing, but I love all the Kander & Ebb. It's a great selection and what a classy, wonderful cover!

Her phrasing is masterful and I am longing for a legit recording of the gorgeous "Love and Love Alone" from THE VISIT.
I'm seeing Chita at Birdland on Oct. 14, so hopefully she'll sing most of this at her concert. Now I'm even more excited!
I didn't realize she was performing on the 14th, I am leaving NY on the 13th, that sucks
I'm really excited about her recording songs from THE VISIT, which I still hope is a show we get to see on Broadway sooner or later.
October 14th is the day before my birthday. I think I know how I want to celebrate.
Really cool!
I hope this leads someone to release her two albums from the '60s on CD!
Don't forget to get your copy today!
The samples sound amazing.
Just had my first listen. The arrangements are fun, jazzy accompinament. Chita is having the time of her life; you can hear it and feel it. Her voice may not be as strong as before, but she can tell a story with great emotion. Her "Where Am I Going" and "Nowadays" are nice to hear with the added knowledge that comes with age. Enjoyable and worth owning.
bought mine today too...can't wait to see her at Birland tomorrow evening!!!!
I love it! Great arrangements. Her phrasing is stunning. I'll post more later.
My only complaint - I wish it had about 2 more songs!
Barnes and Noble shipped it yesterday with the new Linda Eder. It is slated to be delivered tomorrow and I cant wait!!!! :)

Hope everybody's picked up/ordered their copy!
Such a good cd...standout tracks on it include Nowadays, Sweet Happy Life, and an exquisite reading of Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square. For me the highlight is Love and Love Alone, which finally gets an appropriate recording.
Yellow Sound Label is doing well with Alan Cumming's great cd and now this from Chita.
