saw it in Philly, it was great.
Chita didn't dance as much as I expected, but she did do some awesome numbers (during the "West Side" section, you just get CHILLS.) Her preence and grace are simply legendary and you feel it everywhere.
The show itself is just alright. The new songs fall flat 90% of the time, but what you go for is to see Chita strut her legend, and that's what you damn well get. Well worth it.

I also saw it in Philly. I agree, she didn't dance the ENTIRE time, but I didn't really expect her to. However, what she DID do (which was still a lot) was amazing and so well-done. It's worth seeing just to be in the presence of such a legend. She is really capable of holding the entire audience in the palm of her hand, and during certain parts of the show, it can seem like she is speaking directly to you. Her singing is fabulous (IMO- i know some people think she's a...not-so-good singer, but I think her voice is great.), and even though the show is scripted, she speaks so naturally it seems as if the whole show is a conversation. You should go. Don't miss it.
I just wish she was coming back to an area I could get to easily, but no such luck.

I saw it in Cincinnati.
If you're a fan of Chita's, then you will love it. Personally, I loved it. Just seeing her on stage seeing All That Jazz was WELL worth it. If you have the chance to see her, don't let it slip through your fingers.

There were quite a few changes from Broadway to tour. I saw it in Philly and it was great.
Biggest change is that "young Chita" is out. No more. Chita does ALL THAT JAZZ just herself and ensemble now, and it works better.
"Don't Ah Ma Me" and suprisingly "Where You Are" are gone. It seems her stories were shortened a little, especially the story about Rita Moreno and WSS.
"IMO- i know some people think she's a...not-so-good singer"
- Obviously they have never listened to the cast recordings of WSS, Bye Bye Birdie, Chicago, and Spider Woman.

Posted: 1/24/07 at 7:01pmI saw it in Philly too (bizzarre) and I thought it was wonderful, and I was slightly happy that they cut the little girl part. However, the cutting of Don't Ah Ma Me and Where You Are upset me a little, but Chita is still terrific.
