I've never been to the stage door but I've heard that she does not tend to come out after matinees. After evening shows, I know quite a few people who've gone recently who did get her autograph afterward.

We went to the evening show last Wednesday. It was cold, so they took groups of 5 at a time inside to see Chita. She was very gracious, signed playbills and let people take photos.
There were not many people at the stage door that night, only about 20 or so.

Anyone know if Peter Benson is back yet? Or if not, what's going on with him?

Peter Benson was back in the show on Sunday. I'm not sure why he was out, but he's returned. :)

Janine DiVita is on for Rosa for the matinee today, and was on last night as well.

Janine DiVita has actually since removed her tweet about being on for Rosa today, I believe Davie will be trying to make it in.
We'll see what happens, I suppose.

That doesn't make sense though. She usually tweets when she is going on, which means that she was told she was on for Rosa, and Erin had to call to say she was calling out. Are they allowed to call back in?

You know, I have to say, I love this show and the original cast. I saw the Sun. matinee and felt Davie was just kind of walking through the role, the shimmer Wolfe gave to Rosa had faded a little, and though I understand the choices Davie made and they work for her, I preferred Wolfe as Rosa. I also, preferred Karl ad Neville, but Samonsky does a fine job in the role. They both have their moments, but on the whole, I preferred the originals. And, wow! Does Davie ever sound like Wolfe! I couldn't get over it! Sideshow anyone! I did like that they weren't carbon copies of Wolfe and Karl, I thought they faded into the background a bit. Still a wonderful production, sad to see it go!

Wdwfreak, sadly this production has had many moments like that, including pulling a principal from a commitment on her scheduled day off to cover because someone else called out unexpectedly.
It is my belief that DiVita will be on, as I heard Davie is pretty ill.

"Are they allowed to call back in?"
Simply put, yes. An understudy is not guaranteed a performance until the half hour call.

This cast must be one of the hardest-working and most resourceful casts around, I think.
I'm very much looking forward to finally seeing this on Saturday (if the weather doesn't wreck my plans again!), whoever's in it.

She's probably sick of playing Datchery!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

She must be sick of something! Mueller is out again tonight and I'm told she probably will not be on tomorrow either but is planning/hoping to be back on Sunday.

Jessie is trying to come back for both shows tomorrow. And yes, she is sick.

Good to know. A friend involved told me that tomorrow wasn't likely but I do really hope she's back, what unfortunate timing for her.

Jessie is in fact back in the matinee today! So happy that she's feeling up to doing the show, what terrible timing to get sick.
Kiira Schmidt was out for the matinee today, Jen Foote is on for her. What a sad thing that this thread will be over tomorrow

Sad that the show is ending, yes. Sad that this thread is ending...not so much. Unless your comment was made with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

Tongue in cheek, always. But yes, the show closing is truly sad. I do hope everyone over at Studio 54 fighting the plague right now magically feels 100% tomorrow! Theatre is magic, right?
