Anyone going tonight? I'm really anxious to know if Raúl is out of his show, as well.

I got tickets for $26.25 and didn't feel like I wasted my time or money! The show is obviously not the greatest theatrical event ever, but it sure is fun! The performances are great, and Jan Maxwell is fantastic! The kids are not annoying, and although the score is weak and the show itself is not AMAZING, it's good fun. I wouldn't spend $100 to see this show again but student rush tickets are well worth it!

I order all my tickets all my tickets off ticketmaster and just get them full price (stupid me, but I guess I can afford them). haha

Penny4eyes, i mean like annoying voices. For example, 5,6,7 year olds on stage.

Love the show, love the cast. 'nuff said. Oh, and the kids are about 12 years old (ish).

I've seen it 6 times and it makes me smile every time. No matter what else has happened in my day, it always puts me in a good mood. (especially when something goes wrong and Raul adlibs :) ) One of the most fun shows ever. See it!

I think it was the most poorly written and directed show I've ever seen on Broadway. They knew they had a flying car so didn't bother to tell a coherent story.

In my opinion (and I've seen it twice), it's one of the best shows to watch on broadway currently. The energy of the people in the cast make it enjoyable. It's a silly show, but in all the right ways. I love it!

are they losing money? i heard the playbills went black and white.

i still haven't seen it. i want to though. i tried to get student tickets about a month ago, but the line was crazy! it was full of parents and children.

Chitty is pure entertainment. Just go, enjoy, feel young again and have fun. Not for those who need a deep political message in a musical (although if you dig deep enough with Chitty, you can probably find some "message".

cathy - most playbills go black and white eventually. Also, there's only one box office line -- so when you go, if you see a huge line, that doesn't mean you can't get student tickets. There's no "rush line" and "regular people" line. You just go up to the window at your turn. They're impossible NOT to get.

i definitely want to see this. when i tried to do the student rush that time, it was a hot day, the line was really long, and my friends and i were confused. so we gave up and went to tkts.
but i'll willing to give this show a chance.

i liked their bway on bway performance, even without chitty!

those kids were adorable too. and talented! and i love me some raul!

" think it was the most poorly written and directed show I've ever seen on Broadway. They knew they had a flying car so didn't bother to tell a coherent story. "

You obviously didn't see All Shook Up, Lennon, or Good Vibrations. I would also add Cats, Dracula and Les Miz (Great music, horrible direction).

Saw CHITTY for the third time last week (1 London, 2 B-way) and just LOVE the show!!!!!! The music is great, visually the show is just stunning, and c'mon, that car flying is simply incredible!! I was in the 6th row, orchestra, and you cannot see the mechanism, and believe me, we tried to see it! Chitty is just 2 and 1/2 hours of fun! Is that so wrong??? And the "jokes" for the adults in the crowd, that the kiddies surely can't figure out, are hysterical!

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE CHITTY!!! I went into seeing the show KNOWING I was going to like it but not expecting to have the reaction I did when I came out. It's just such a light, fun, feel good show! I cried tears of joy at the most unexpected times. It really made me feel like I was a kid again! I LOVE it! Not to mention that I think Erin Dilly is just Phenomenal!

What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!
