This looks amazing. Finally something new. Don't get me wrong Bennett was a genius and is A Chorus Line, but it's nice to see a new take. After last year's City Center production I'm convinced I don't need to see the Bennett staging again any time soon.

There's been a few regional theaters recently that have done a different version. The one at the Fulton in PA a few years ago was not good. I think TUTS in Texas did it last year different and from the clips I saw it looked good. All depends on the director's take and vision.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Agree that it's very hard to tell from a 30 second montage of rehearsal footage, but it doesn't look like it strays super far from the Bennett choreography. Based on that I would guess that it's along the lines of Chicago where Ann Reinking created new choreography that was still very much in the Bob Fosse style. So new, but not some radical reinterpretation.
