Im afraid that chorus numbers dont do it for me as much. But, i am usually wrong.

Does 'Tomorrow Belong to Me' (Cabaret) count as an ensemble number?

You know it and you want it... you just can't believe you've got it.

One of my all-time favorite Broadway songs is a chorus song- "One" from A CHORUS LINE.

I also like "Do You Hear the People Sing?" from LES MISERABLES, "Ascot Gavotte" from MY FAIR LADY and "Masquerade" from THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

Praying Decca Broadway will put "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD!

"At the end of the Day" from Les Mis.

Although my favorite chorus number is "Snuff the Girl" from Urinetown.

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

Ahhhh Margo - Make Our Garden Grow is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written...I never get through it without crying. I read somewhere, once, that the melody was originally intended to be used in West Side Story but was replaced with the song that is now called Somewhere. Both are gorgeous songs and very touching.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

How about the song "42nd Street". That is one of Broadway's best and most well-known showtunes and it is a chorus number at its very best.

I really love "Six Months out of Every Year", the opening number from Damn Yankees. It's a great tune, plus it sets up the show so well.

"One Hand, One Heart" from West Side Story is the melody that, in slightly different form, was originally written for Candide.

"God That's Good" is one of my favorites.
"Cell Block Tango" is always wonderful.
I listen to "You Can't Stop the Beat" when I drive and it becomes very dangerous.

SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER!!!!!

Wait, does that count? Because I know that Roger DeBris/Hitler has a big part, but a lot of it is the chorus...

If that doesn't count, and even if it does, I also love "Urinetown" from Urinetown. I love everything about that show.
