Im afraid that chorus numbers dont do it for me as much. But, i am usually wrong.
Does a chorus number make it to the top of anyones best song lists? I cant for the life of me come up with any...

One of my all-time favorite Broadway songs is a chorus song- "One" from A CHORUS LINE.
I also like "Do You Hear the People Sing?" from LES MISERABLES, "Ascot Gavotte" from MY FAIR LADY and "Masquerade" from THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

"At the end of the Day" from Les Mis.
Although my favorite chorus number is "Snuff the Girl" from Urinetown.

Posted: 6/23/04 at 9:37amAhhhh Margo - Make Our Garden Grow is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written...I never get through it without crying. I read somewhere, once, that the melody was originally intended to be used in West Side Story but was replaced with the song that is now called Somewhere. Both are gorgeous songs and very touching.

"One Hand, One Heart" from West Side Story is the melody that, in slightly different form, was originally written for Candide.

"God That's Good" is one of my favorites.
"Cell Block Tango" is always wonderful.
I listen to "You Can't Stop the Beat" when I drive and it becomes very dangerous.

SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER!!!!!
Wait, does that count? Because I know that Roger DeBris/Hitler has a big part, but a lot of it is the chorus...
