Missed this casting news from a couple of weeks ago:

“The Oscar and Emmy winner will portray Lubja, a supervisor of a professional troll farm who hands down increasingly specific asks to her subordinates, in the office comedy-meets-political satire opening at off-Broadway’s Vineyard Theatre on Feb. 8. She will star alongside Haskell King, Renata Friedman, John Lavelle, and Hadi Tabbal in the play’s New York debut, directed by Tony winner Darko Tresnjak.”
I totally missed this, too! One of my all-time favorite actresses makes this an absolute must-see for me. Thanks for posting this!

She has always been one of my favorites, too. I have never understood why she did not become bigger, given her incredible charisma and talent. She has always been in my mind very attractive as well.
I've got tickets for the end of the month. Looking forward to it and seeing Hadi Tabbal again. He was so good in English.
I missed scene partners so I’m looking forward to see this

Kind of a win that the Vineyard snagged OSCAR winners in both of their shows this season
Loved this play. Funny, unsettling, cringey, thought-provoking, with great performances all around, and Christine Lahti fans won’t be disappointed, as she has a fantastic 15 minute-ish long monologue towards the end of the show.

Great use of projections and good performances by all but I never laughed once. Bathroom humor and cheap shots breaking 4th wall looking for an easy laugh. Just not for me.
I saw this last night and couldn't care for it at all. I was also turned off by the bathroom humor and the lack of any kind of humor beyond the basic eyerolling attempts you'd find on a late night show. The characters in the play were somehow both Russian nationals struggling to learn English grammar and American vernacular, yet at the same time spoke like a cliched grabbag of bored American office workers and had "insight" and commentary on domestic American issues that were wholly out of character.
This reminded me of a low-rent version of Circle Jerk at The Connelly Theater a few years ago (which also didn't do much for me).
