Circle in the Square for fall??

Does anybody know what's going into Circle in the Square this fall? There was a rumor that Our Town was going to transfer there, but if it is transfering no one in the cast or management seems to know about it. I know a couple of shows have looked at the space, I'm wondering if anyone has booked it?

Out of curiosity, who has looked at it? I've heard the "Our Town" rumor, but it's not exactly doing major business downtown at the moment, but that could also be a case of location. It's a great production regardless.

I think it's officially dead. It was scheduled to begin previews about a year ago. I wouldn't be surprised if investors backed out and the progress of the production was just pushed under the rug (as I don't remember a press release) during the Closings Fiesta of late 2008.

They lost a backer last summer a few weeks before previews were supposed to start. At this point, I think it's safe to say they didn't find a new one.

I hope it eventually happens. But Whoopi might be a little busy with "Sister Act" and whatnot.
