Misspelling a word is definitely a sin in my book, but calling out someone for misspelling a word is by far a worse thing to do.
It's not "far worse" It's a message board where comments and conversations appear in print. Spelling and grammar are inherent to the form of media and noticing them is entirely appropriate when our only form of communication is through the written word.
Thank God we have great people like you around here to help us out.
A rather sanctimonious form of snark and criticism.
Anyway your comment, and this message, are not related to the topic of this thread at all.
It was directly related to a comment in the post, but if you want to police what should be considered appropriate and relevant, then you would have to delete your own comments which are not related to the topic of this thread at all. You are telling someone to let something slide based on your own rules of relevance, yet in doing so, you are not letting something slide based on your own rules of relevance.
If you truly believe that spelling and grammar have no place or relevance on a message board, then perhaps you should be posting on youtube channels or vlogs where the responses are not...you know...written and read. You may feel it's not important, but it makes zero sense to think that others should be censored from pointing it out. And if every post that is not directly related to the thread topic were deleted, from BWW, you would have very little to read, including your post. If you want to let it slide, fine. Thank God we have people like you around here to help us out. Let's move on. But only after I specifically do not.
