Most excellent. Thank you for posting...the Youtube links took me to some other cool clips I hadn't seen yet too.
Seriously. It only looks good if you never saw the original. The OBC was beyond amazing, the voices stellar, the orchestra was bleeping fantastic (and they never missed a note which drove me NUTS in this re-imagining) and that set was, well, it elevated scenic design on Broadway, IYKWIM.
Sorry guys, this version is Reader's Digest, poorly printed.

Alrighty then.
Well, I have to admit I was not a fan of this revival, and left at intermission. Watching this video, I'm glad I did!
Too bad you didn't stick around for "Being Alive"
^^^Apology accepted.
I saw it and loved it.

Raul is a stud.
I am really looking forward to it being broadcast so I can put it on DVD.
Fans of COMPANY - remember to throw money (if available) at PBS during the broadcast to thank them for this programming. I usually re-subscribe in December but this time I'm waiting to "vote" for COMPANY with my pocketbook.
Those clips are lovely!
I envy those of you whose PBS stations will actually broadcast this. As of right now, KCET in Los Angeles (hello, the second biggest market in the country!) has no plans to air Company in the foreseeable future, either on February 20th or later. (And I will be thrilled beyond words if something happens to prove me wrong.)
I have to hope that KOCE, the Orange County station (that also serves the Los Angeles area), will behave in a more enlightened fashion.
Fantastic! Thanks for the links!

I HAVE THE DVD OF THE PERFORMANCE THAT WILL AIR NEXT MONTH.. THE SHOW IS LOVELY AND THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB EDITING IT!
I adore these clips. And how fabulous is Kristin Huffman? Her every line and look to the audience is so, so Sarah.

Thanks soooooooooooo much for bringing this to our attention. I've been so bummed that I didn't get the chance to see this on stage. Can't wait for the full version.
Can't wait... Now I can see the Broadway production. I saw it in Cincy pre-Broadway, so I'm curious to see the changes.

That's what I thought, too! They got some really nice shots of her that captured her character perfectly.
I'm going to try and call in that night if I can
Words cannot express how excited I am for this. Those clips were awesome.

My guess is that WestVillage would have hated Esparza's "Being Alive" as much as I did.
So unless you think he should have suffered (as perhaps you do), it's probably just as well he left.
Although I'm glad I stayed for the whole painful thing.
I agree with Wiz about it looking a bit lifeless (the What Would We Do Without You? sequence which is the only clip I got to see). To be fair, it was more fun to watch live. However, having seen the clip of the anniversary performance of the original cast, I can tell that Michael Bennett's perfect staging of that number puts Doyle's to shame.
One thing I never did figure out is why Doyle had the girlfriends on stage singing this sequence. The lyrics make absolutely no sense if sung by the girlfriends. I understand if he wanted to have them for the orchestra but singing???? Why????
No.
Honestly, not a fan of the revival at all, though I must say this: I miss Heather "should have been nominated for a Tony" Laws.
Thanks for posting!
Thanks. I am so excited to see this. Not the biggest fan of Raul's singing, but I was bummed I couldn't get to NY to see it. Now I can!
Ugh...I have to wait until I get home from work. YouTube is blocked on my job!
