in case you wanted to know: a line formed for rush today, and 20 people were in line by 4:30 pm.
I think 4 is a safe time - hopefully!!

I have to take care of some things around that area so I'll probably end up getting there at like 3:30ish.

I want to see the show on Thursday, but I'm busy between 2:30 and 6. 6 is too late, so maybe if I go at like 2:15 and beg, they'll give me tickets. Heh, wishful.

I understand that they want as many people as possible to see the show, but throwing the tickets away isnt the best tactic, because a lot of ppl are getting frustrated.
They might give them out at 2:15 - can you call and ask?

I feel like they wouldn't know in advance if they'd feel like selling them before that three-hour mark. I'll have to go and try... or give them my best puppy-dog eyes. Either that or I can whip out the "Come on, I've seen your show ___ times!!" card.

my impression was that it often depends on WHO is working there, not how many tickets were sold... but I may be wrong.
Either that or I can whip out the "Come on, I've seen your show ___ times!!" card.
this usually works! also you get a smile and a softer attitude.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the box office people actually knew my face by now.

So, to bump this.
Saying I want to student rush the Wednesday matinee, what time should I get there? Failing that, what time should I get there to student rush for the Wednesday evening show? I really really want to see this.

Do they do rush for Wednesday matinees? And if I get there at 3:30, when will I like, you know, physically get a ticket? And can I buy two, is that right?
Pardon my ignorance/details, I'm just trying to plan the rest of my vacation around this, something I've never done really before.

They have rush for all performances. 3:30 is fine for an evening show; they have about forty-five tickets allotted for rush. And yes, you can buy two.

One last annoying question, then I'll keep my anxieties to myself. What would be a good time to try for a matinee rush, like 10 AM then or something?

Well, for a 2 p.m. show, they'll sell the tickets at 11. So yeah, I'd get there at 9:30-10 at the latest. Eek.
When you exit the theater through the main doors (the way you came in), make a left, and you'll see a giant door with a Legally Blonde poster on it. It leads to the stage door, so you can wait right outside there to meet the cast.

I rushed it today. I got there at 10:30, and there were about 6 people in front of me. By the time the box office opened at noon, there were easily about 30 people in line. I got my front row seats, but I saw some people get stuck in the boxes. The rush is becoming popular now that it's closing.
P.S. Raul was AMAZING. We gave him a standing ovation after Being Alive.

That was a redonk amount of people this morning. By 11:30 there were at least 20-25 on line. And I thought I took the early train!

Vfd- the people weren't "Stuck" in the boxes. That's always been where rush is after the front row fills, and they're quite nice seats.
Interesting that you got there at 10:30, I was wondering what time the people in the front had gotten there- now I know it was before that.
