Completely thrilled for RED!!

The other new plays this season were mostly wonderful, but RED absolutely took my breath away. I am so thrilled to see them recognized with so many nominations! Fingers crossed they pick up at least some of those awards,

Completely agreed. RED is my favorite show of the season and it is the show that has most resonated with me since THE PILLOWMAN 5 years ago.

I'm really pulling for a Neil Austin for his fantastic lighting design. His work helped create the play's third essential element, that being Rothko's works themselves.

I also agree - one of the most enthralling theater experiences for me this or any year! I am glad it was not overlooked.

RED was very good. I think that, compared to the shows it's up against, it should win.
