This thread is making me want those candies-turned-gum things.
Sidenote: Rath, RAZZLES are my favie!
I really liked Deck the Halls. I don't see it winning an academy award any time soon, but it was good family fun! If we are referencing The Pink Panther, than where is Beyonce's Razzie?
Finally an award she deserves.
'Finally an award she deserves.'
Speaking of awards..you won your Tony for what exactly?
Thought so.

I hope she doesn't take it too personally. Should she win, she should accept it graciously and go on taking whatever roles she can get..
Cooperross, my lack of a Tony does not mean that I can't dislike her and think that she does not deserve all the recognition she gets.
Anakela: Cosby's three awards were made of real gold and marble. He had jokingly stated that he'd only accept them if they were solid gold.
I believe Natalie Wood was the first actor to actually showed up to accept her Razzie. I can't remember the movie.
Borstalboy: The Razzies weren't founded until 1980. It was Harvard Lampoon that named her the worst actress of 1966* and she graciously accepted the award in person (the only person to have done so.)
*I'm not sure if it was for a specific performance, but she starred in two films (PENELOPE and THE PROPERTY IS CONDEMNED) that year.
Awww, she was great in THIS PROPERTY IS CONDEMNED.
Awww ::claps:: yeah kristin!!! That's awesome. if she wins, she can put it in her bio (Tony Award Winner,Drama Desk Winner,Outer Critics Circle Award Winner and Razzie Winner) WOOOO!!! HAHAH

OT, but Amy Irving got nominated for a Razzie and an Oscar for the SAME performance.
Yeah, both Amy Irving (YENTL) and James Coco (ONLY WHEN I LAUGH) received Razzie AND Oscar nominations for the same role.
I feel like the Razzies are all in good fun. I wouldn't be suprised if Kristin was laughing about it right now.
I don't have time to do the research. Does anyone recall if Chenoweth was nominated before for her stellar performance in the screen adaptation of 'Bewitched' which starred La Kidman?

Whose family exactly?
lol... oh well... it had to happen after she was in so many worthless turkeys in the same year! I hope noone takes this too seriously, fans or detractors... I'd be surprised the people nominating for the Razzies actually see all the movies and can judge anyone. If anything, she was nominated because she comes out of nowhere to play the bubbly blonde in 3 of the movies arguably worst movies so that was a way to get them all nominated at once!
The funniest part is that she was the only one to get any positive mention (along with Jeff Daniels) in the pathetic RV reviews... but yeah well... the Razzies.
I'm personally rooting for Carmen Electra because she is the Queen of overacting and she deserves any award she can get outside of the porn category, poor thing but You Go Kristin! Any press is good press!
I believe that she's the only Razzies award winner to have ever attended, and that was just cool.
Oh no, dear. Tom Green not only showed, he brought his own red carpet when nominated for Fredddy Got Fingered. He stepped from his crappy old limo, rolled out his carpet and walked it while talking to the 3 or 4 photographers who were there.
lol! he DID!
cooper, don't worry... more fodder for the Chenoweth haters... they'll jump at anything anyway
You guys should take a look at past and present nominations. A LOT of worthy actors and deservingly oscar winners were nominated just for being in horrible movies... if Ben Kingsley can get a Razzie nomination, anyone can.
but please resume your Chenoweth bashing, it'll get even funnier when she's nominated for a Tony for Apple Tree... mmm... wonder how that'll make musical theatre look :p
It'll make it look sad. The woman is a tremendous talent in terms of voice and personality, but an actress she is not.
I hope the guy who played C.C. gets nominated.
Don't knock my Keith, punk!
I won't knock him if he doesn't stink up an otherwise really great film, mug!
I saw Deck The Halls and thought the entire cast could have been nominated for Razzies (particularly Matthew Broderick). Too bad there isn't a Broadway version of the Razzies...
ShbrtAlley44, you may be right but I think she hasn't had the chance to prove herself as an actress. I'd like to see her in just ONE GOOD dramatic role before anyone go throwing stones at her for playing the blubbly blonde too often. I think you might be surprised... there are a lot of actors out there who were constantly misjudged because they played "only" comic roles and hit the ball out of the park in dramatic parts to the general surprise. i'm not saying it will nevessarily be the case for Chenoweth but I'm saying you can't judge her until she's in a real part that takes her away from the Glinda act.
