Invasive, intrusive threads like this one should be deleted immediately. It's absolutely disgusting.
I love your disgust - it's a good look on you.
Do we know if Sondheim plays Farmville?

A while back he commented on the Sondheim forum saying he had started to read it but found the experience simply too strange. DOes he never comment on living composers work? back when he was full of praise for Tesori's Violet I remember.
"I know that Bernadette Peters has a secret facebook account...it's a dog's facebook page haha"
...kringas?
hahahahahahhahahahahah wow. well i just wanted to write a letter of thanks. sorry. this was/is one funny thread though
If any of you want to practice your stalking before entering the big leagues with Sondheim, I've written a lovely new musical that I'm taking into the Readings phase. I have Facebook and share my curmudgeonly opinions on everyone, living and dead. No need to contact me through my lawyers, all my money will be going to accompanists and rehearsal space, so I can't afford them. Love me, stalk me, villify me... it's all good!
TheEnchantedHunter...why are you disgusted? It's not like anyone has actually GIVEN out addresses and email addresses...calm down.
Bumping because after a Bock and Harnick kick, I'm back to Sondheim now-
"DOes he never comment on living composers work? back when he was full of praise for Tesori's Violet I remember."
I once asked him what he thought of Light in the Piazza, knowing that he loved Floyd Collins (openly, too) and he said he wouldn't say anything. Supposedly, Cy Coleman and Marvin Hamlisch said some things in print about him and it bothered him (back in the 70s) and he also got flack for not praising the already overpraised Chorus Line (back in the 70s, again) aside from flack for his dislike for Larry Hart. So, I guess he's figured out that keeping your mouth shut is the best option in life sometimes. However, I'd be fascinated to hear his take on G.G. and even Parade, for which he was supposed to write the score before he quit and Hal hired Jason Brown.
And The Enchanted Hunter, as mywonderwa11 has said, we haven't given out addresses or email addresses. We haven't brought up those God awful S&M things that people make up about him. Steve Sondheim is one of the most open and generous people I know. I'm sure he'd find it strange that we're discussing him, but I doubt he'd find any of this intrusive or disgusting.

Why you always gotta be hating on Chorus Line? Does "Steve" like when you do it?
I've got a letter where he talks about ALW but refers to him as "another composer".
It's in my fireproof safe.
And it's staying there.

I have a little box where I keep my letters from everyone (even non-theatre folk). Perhaps I should get a fireproff safe as well.

It isn't the second coming. It has a good book and a mediocre score. That's why I'm always "hating" on it, Mrs. Stone.
Who on earth are Aspen Miller and Tony Vincent? I can't imagine why they were cited in this discussion...
Does anyone have updated contact info for Mr. Sondheim? The Douglas & Kopelman Artists, Inc (393 West 49th Street) address got returned to me as undeliverable.

Did you see that Sondheim signed COMPANY dvds for D A Pennebaker's new kickstarter? Pennebaker signed them too. Pretty cool, you can't get COMPANY anymore
