Yeah I'd be quite happy to get Seasons of Love over and done with at teh beginning...its a great song but sadly alot of people just think of that song when they hear rent named...probally from singing it in school choirs etc but yes...i think it will be less of a distraction if it comes at the beginning and yes the idea of a year passing by would make it fit nicely.

Season of Love in the beginning? Yes, sounds great! I think it would set the tone perfectly for their upcoming year.

Can't wait to see this movie!

In the beginning I was not looking forward to this...but after seeing the trailer I'm 100% behind it!

I agree that it won't hurt the film overall where the song goes, but if they just start with a few chords of it at the beginning and then play the whole thing at the end it might have more of an effect after seeing the events of all the character's lives play out.

Wax Lion says that the RENT movie will follow the same order as the stage show. SEASONS OF LOVE will not be at the begining or the end.

SolitaryRose would like to know where Wax Lion got such information, given that it contradicts the info given by the visitor to the Rent set, and by Anthony Rapp, who states that the songs will not all be in the same order as the stage production and who has basically confirmed that SOL will be the first song.

SolitaryRose means no disrespect. She's just curious.

Wax Lion says that he is very much in love with Tracie Thoms. She is so beautiful. He has never been compared to a tax-raising republican before, but I suppose there's a first time for everything.

Omg that was a great trailer i can't wait. YEah i see what you guys mean, I'm confused as to where Seasons of love is going to fit in. Well, maybe that recorded that just for the teaser trailer. Or not, I'm just really confused.
