We have costume desigm, what we need is an award for props.
I appoligise for any spelling mistakes. I may be on my mobile. Clumsy fingers and small little touchscreen keys don't mixx. I try to spellcheck, but I may miss something.

Don't props and costumes come together in one? Or props and sets?

The props masters will work closely with the designers (especially when it comes to things like furniture and set dressing), but that is hardly the case with every item. The best props masters are true designers and artists in their own right.

You need to know SO MUCH to do props, collaborate effortlesly, and have a great sense of design. They are like the swings who know every role in a show.
