The term " get a life" seems to apply here
you guys leave these poor girls alone. I bet that at some point in your life YOU have been just as excited and over zalous about something too.
Get off you ****ing high horse and stop bashing people. Let's be thankful that they have something they enjoy, and can connect with. I don't see the big problem. People are just being way to critical over this.
Are these girls personally offending, threatening, or hurting you in any way? NO. You'd be surprised how many people in the casts are actually flattered by that. I did it for RENT in california, and one of the cast memebers brought us all starbucks, and sat with us the ENTIRE day.
So get over it people. Maybe they can't afford a 90 dollar ticket to see a musical. At least they are supporting the arts.
Sometimes, people on this site disgust me.

Wow. That's insanity.
Wonder which BWW posters they are...
The projection/hypocrisy around here never ceases to amaze me.

dare i say some people need lives?
i think the last time i heard about anything like this was for daphne's last show in rent... i could be wrong.
Hey, I never denied my teenybopper "Tiffany Taylor Thomas" days, but damn if my breath didn't smell like Altoids and jujubes. What are you inferring?

Yeah, maybe it is those crazy freaks who dress up. I mean they get all freaky and in costume so we should all ASSUME they do other crazy things to bash them for. What psychos....
I thought it's been known for a while that people were gonna camp out for Sunday's show.
I think that it's understandable. They want front row seats. There are people who have spent thousands of dollars on Wedding Singer tickets in the past year and you say that THESE people have no lives?
Not that I have anything against people who spend all of their money on this show because if I lived in the city and had a well paying job, I'd be pretty tempted to do the same but just let them do their thing. It's not doing ANYthing to you. Will the people OUTSIDE of the theater distract you while the show is going on as well?

Betcha you're so supportive cuz you're getting one of those tickets from those girls.
Nice sarcasm. But I'm from california.
I'm supportive of them, because they aren't doing anything wrong. And that's the bottom line here.

If they were die-hard fans, they coulda got tickets 5 minutes ago for 4th row. It's 40$ more than rush but it saves you 48 hours of sitting outside a theatre. And I'm sure they'll be spending atleast 40$ on food for 2 days so in the end, they have the bad deal. It's FREEZING outside. They're lucky it isn't as bad as it usually is for almost Jan 1st but it's gonna get to the 30s tonight. Part of me hopes they catch pnemonia & are too sick to attend the show...
And part of me hopes that you would pull your head out of your ass.

I'm sorry, but it comes to a certain point when you get sick of all the bashing on this web sites message boards. There is no reason why people should be so offended and distraught by the fac that these girls are camping out.
It hurts my feelings for them is all. It's a little cruel.
That sounds like a great ideal ala spring awakening
A musical of I Am My Own Wife
ILoveWicked330, that's horrible to say that you hope they catch pneumonia. Yes, it's crazy to wait that long for rush when they can get tickets for the show, but oh well, it's their lives.

I have my tickets for the last show. I'm not getting tickets from anyone. Even if I did, though, then what? A good portion of you would be sitting here fuming as you ALWAYS seem to be (again can I mention the "no life" comment)while me or those other people would be happy and bouncing up and down in their first row seats for the last show only to move on with their lives that much happier for it while a bunch of bitter and angry people bash them online.
I think someone needs to take a deep breath. Nobody was being cruel to these girls. Just as those girls have every right to sit out in the cold for three days, I have every right to state my opinion that I think they are morons.
Cool out and get off YOUR high horse!

Just like I have the right to try and make all of you realize that you're wasting SO much energy on bashing people who have done absolutely nothing to you.
I find it exciting that people are connecting to/excited about musical theatre. Yeah it may be crazy but at least they are passionate. I hope this show tours and comes to Chicago, I have to see it!
I don't think people are hating them so much as pointing out how impractical (and, frankly, pretty dangerous) their behavior is. They COULD catch pneumonia and they COULD be pickpocketed or harrassed while they sit there and there are so many alternatives, which people have pointed out. And this has nothing to do with such devoted fanship or even the quality of the show. It has to do with common sense and taking care of yourself and your health.
That may be what tiy are talking about but it isnt what everyone in thread was saying. Some people were making person attacks on these girls and wishing they were to get sick. I find that discusting. If they wish to be sitting outside the theatre for the next 2 days so be it. At least they care about something.
Thank you TANNER. Wishing people to get sick, and calling them morons is wrong and uncalled for.
If it means that much to them, that's totally cool. Insane. but cool. I'm glad they care about something so much.
