so jealous. enjoy the pizza. doing things like that can be so much fun. you are there for hours, with people who love what you do, as much as you do. :sigh:
you guys rock. have fun, be safe.
HI from the rush line :)
We are indeed rushing for the shows tomorrow.
We all have tickets for Sunday and are making a last effort to see the show from the front row.
I know I was planning on getting here around 5 and then I saw the line already had multiple people on it and got nervous. We are ordering pizza, playing board games and talking. There is a large amount of us, so we should stay safe and if not, Liotte brought steak knives from her apartment :-P
We all know each other and its a really relaxed and fun atmosphere. No one stealing tickets or cutting line. I wish rush was always like this.
And for the record, we all intend to go and shower before attending any shows - THANK YOU! Have faith in proper hygiene :-P

I really don't think it's about attention. I'm going to try and rush Sunday's show as well, at some point this weekend, and for me it's just continuing the experience of getting student rush for the show and sitting in that first row. I completely aware that it would be much easier to buy a ticket, but it's kind of tradition to sit in row A. I've met some really nice people in rush line, people who hold nice non-WS related conversation, and some pretty intense people as well. I'm just speaking for myself, but it might be more about tradition than anything else.

I'm tempted, as I'm bored as hell and unable to sleep. But that would just be ridiculous. But keep having fun everyone! I'm jealous of the good time you all are having.

I'm going to try and rush Sunday's show as well
But are you waiting in line starting tonight (Friday) in order to rush Sunday's show? That's what the thread was initially about, although it seems that the original poster may have posted incorrect information.
It's so fun outside with everyone, we are having a great bonding experience!

GET A LIFE WHAT ABOUT THE ASS WHO SAW THE SHOW 170 TIMES .EVERY ONE MAKES FUN OF THESE ASS'S
Just got back from rush and about to head to bed. We all got along great - it went by quickly. We all got the tickets we wanted - it was so organized!
I love this show very much, but there is only one show I would consider going out of my way like this for: LES MIZ.
I hope the gals waiting there are safe and happy
I can honestly say there wasn't one moment where I didn't feel safe. We had a cop that nicely drove by every half hour or so to check on us and besides some curious passerbys, no one really bothered us except to wish us luck.

Did you get rush tickets for Sunday or today?
they got rush for tonight, so theyre at the show now. im PRETTY sure that none of the people in rush for today were rushing for tom too, unless they just went to the mat.
WOW i think you all need to get a damn life!
i mean seriously its a show
and i dun care how many people you think you know that are performing.. no show or anything in that matter is worth waiting for hours late in the freezing NYC winter air
I mean just buy a damn ticket!
there are plenty of codes to get them real cheap
how cheap can u be for not wanting to pay a wopping $60 to see a show that is oh so important to you
As stated earlier on on this board.. one word FREAKS!
yeah and i would say its really risky cuz even if you get your precious ticket... you may wake up sicker than ever
i mean hey its the time for good old phnemonia!
and as for sitting front row.. thats just about all your gunna get from it
nothing else so dont get ur hopes up
and i dont have a doubt in my mind that the girls that dress up are there waiting as well
they sat front row on thursday and all i could do is stare and shake my head
They had nice costumes without a doubt but i mean acting the way u are is just weird and the cast definetly thinks much more than that
So anyway yeah ill be there second row mezz center enjoying it just as much and getting an amazing view and didnt havta do anything to get them just friggen purchase them
Tomorrow should be interesting
and i can only say that it will be missed and the cast will b so happy they wont havta put up with all this
who the hell are you to call these girls freaks? If they want to wait outside that is THEIR problem not yours.
PS
please learn how to spell.

You are so right BRDWYrobb. Whats so good about the first row you have to look up to see the show. Plus all the money you spend out there for pizza, coffee and what ever else you could get a good night sleep in your own bed and get a discount ticket Sunday morning.
Why don't y'all perform the show on the sidewalk. Just a thought...
like bklyn a sidewalk fairtale and then we can all swing from the trees and sing tarzan.
Question for anyone in the rush line -- I was just about to head out there. Things happened, so I couldn't get there before now. Is it worth it? How many people are in line so far? How many rush tickets are available? If the show isn't sold out, do you think they'll sell some other tickets at the student price for the people who slept there?
Thanks in advance!
How about everyone work on a farewell tune for Miss Maddigan?
