Sad.
i dont think its necessary to get out there this early to do this, but hey, its not me, and theyre having a good time, so good for them. i think theyre insane, but people are gonna do what they want to do. at least they know theyre guaranteed front row tickets.
question, do we have a pic or no? im just curious, no big deal

The last time I heard something this stupid was when Joel spent 100 hours in line to see his 100th performance of Rent. Idiotic and unnecessary are the two words I would use for this behavior.
Ditto.
I picked up a ticket for the last, too.
Front row left mezz, my favorite seats (well, center is my favorite)
update: SUPPOSIDLY they have left, at least for now, but i could be wrong.
I walked past right b4 the show was getting out tonight there were a few people sitting under the ticket window and it looked like they had blankets.
Remember the thread about "a show that you want to see at any cost" or something like that a while ago? Those girls are doing exactly the thing that they want to do to see the final show at the very front row. It's insane but hey, at least they have a passion.

Well I work there and and if its the girls who dress up in costume I doubt they will stay there all night by themselves unless they have security guards that block is very bad at night with the halfway house/ section 8 across the street. Very scary people come from there. I woundn't stay there if they paid me.
^ Good point. That isn't exactly the best area where the Hirschfeld is. Pretty shady down there.
Theres also the strip club on the middle of the block.

When the hookers come with there johns right there because thats there favorite spot its covered from the street they will leave. If not the drug addicted people from accross the street start coming out for there fix I don't think they will stay there unless there are alot of people with them

I pity the poor fool who has to sit next to those girls at the final show.
Ha, good point.
Those kids are gonna get scared away, pretty funny.
There is no one waiting for Sunday's show outside right now.
There are 12 of us who are waiting for tomorrow. We are having a ball, are very warm with lots of blankets and clothes, and are looking forward to spending that extra $40 on ordering pizza at 1am.

IAMmyownMUSICAL- Grow Up and learn how to take a joke
Umm I used to live on the street where the Hirsch(then the beck)is, its not that bad. Trust me there are worse streets in the city. As far as these girls go? Wow thats some sick divotion for a supposedly bad show.

Liotte, is there wireless there or do you have a blackberry (or similar device)? Stay warm and enjoy the pizza!
Maybe they'll get on the local news.

you all try and stay warm and show that wedding singer its proper love.
Hey props to you guys who are sitting out there, just be careful that theatre (as stated) is not in the best area. What a great show, I wish I was rushing it on Sunday but I guess I will have to stop: seeing it 5 times in 8 months was enough I suppose. DAMNIT! If I didn't have Jets/Raiders tickets I would totally go :)
Have fun guys, let them know at stagedoor how much we loved the show. Im gonna miss it even more than I miss DRS.

For those of you saying that they could easily get regular tickets for Sunday's show - I'm sure they could. Although I imagine these people would deny it (and perhaps they're not even completely aware of it themselves), I'm sure it's a way to garner attention on some level for going to such an extreme for the tickets. They want to be able to tell everyone (and each other) that they waited in line through the cold nights for their tickets. It's certainly something I can't imagine doing.
ETA: They left? Well, never mind.
