Didn't even get to see it, too bad.

Wow, that was quick! That's too bad. I hope everyone can find jobs soon enough?

If Godspell is still
coming perhaps the
Marquis will house that

I have to 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) all the praises for the cast. I saw the show a week or so ago. Actually a pretty full house. Didn't hate or love the show - BUT, kudos to the cast. It was a very entertaining evening.

I will be interested to see how quickly James Snyder gets work.

I thought he was terribly bland and mediocre. Completely slaughtered the title character.

All the best to the cast and crew. Not exactly surprised but we all know they gave it their best.

Godpsell will be at the Barrymore Theater. Official announcement will come soon. As for the Marquis, all we know is White Christmas will be the next tenant, but not till Fall. Dont know what's in between?

As for the cast of Cry-Baby..some of them will be at Brigadoon (like Spencer Liff) How did I know this? Rob Ashford & Spencer Liff told me at CB's stage door a month ago. (burnsy & brettystar can confirm that!)

I'm not really shocked that it is closing. I thought it would go through summer first, so for me it came sooner than I expected. I hope nothing but the best for the cast.

Broadway Shows I've Seen: Hairspray, Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors (2003), The Wedding Singer, Spamalot, Riverdance, Rent, Beauty and the Beast, Spring Awakening, Wicked, Legally Blonde, Phantom of the Opera, Sweet Charity (revival), Drowsy Chaperone, The Lion King, Dreamgirls(2010 Tour).

This is kinda sad although I am not surprised. It looks very expensive to run. I definitely did not hate the show. It was better than some of the other things I had seen recently.

I hope there is still a cast recording.

And if he was writing in haiku, the second line would have seven syllable, for a 5,7,5 structure. Not 5,5,5.

PLEASE! Do not post anything negative or dramatic! DidYouReallyHearMe has LOST the ability to ignore such posts and he will comment! Please, help him.

With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-

I think they already recorded it! Too Darn Hot mentioned it two weeks ago!

While not the best show, it did bring Harriet Harris back to musicals! Honestly, her, and the rest of the cast minus James Snyder were pretty good. Not a perfect show, and in my opinion, it would have done better as a one act, cutting the court room song into a scene, and removing the first song at Turkey Point

You are correct. That wasn't the point, but correct, nonetheless.

I'm sad that this is closing. I really hope every person who was in the cast gets a job soon because they were all fantastic. Good luck to them.

And yeah i hope the cast recording rumors are true also.

This is sad news, I really would have liked to have seen it. It looked like a lot of fun, but I'm sure the cast will get work no problem :)

The dancing was cool from what I saw on the Tonys, but it was not enough to get me interested in seeing it. It seems sort of funny though that it's closing the day after my birthday, although I realize it is just coincidental.

The plans for a tour make me very hopeful for the Cast Recording to be released. Anyone else? It seems like a good thing to have when you're going on the road.

The dancing was cool from what I saw on the Tonys, but it was not enough to get interested.

That's about it! You guys seen the best part of the show. It's the "I'm A Little Upset" and Alli Mauzey's rousing & over the top number, "Screw Loose"

Ocassionally, there's some eye-candy like Spencer Liff showing his abs..but you guys already seen his photos. A Little Upset & Screw Loose number, eye popping choreography and ice candies- there's nothing more than that!
Nothing really special. aside from that, you guys will just be bored or ponder as to why you wasted 2 1/2 hours of your life!

I am sure...everyone will agree on me on that..(for those who seen it!)

Alli Mauzey!!!!! I just saw a pic of her and I remember her from the Brea Olinda showchoir in High School! A group of us from my choir and a group of people from her choir TP'd her house! She had a beautifull voice back then... I would love to see how she sounds now!
