They really can't do anything with it until after that point from what I understand. We have gotten refunds for the dates specified up until now. I am sure that as those dates past the original dates that were set pass, people will get their refunds. JMO"
My complaint is not that they aren't processing a refund fast enough. (I really don't want a refund if the show is going to be rescheduled) My complaint is there has been zero communication from the sponsor of our series. Our city government has stated that the performance will not happen due to lockdown. The sponsor knows it will not go on, so address it. Something like we are aware of the situation and are working on it. When our March, Hamilton stop was cancelled/postponed, they addressed a refund and other options BEFORE the performances start. For some performances it was more than two weeks before the actual start. Since they aren't following the same procedure and purposely remaining quiet, yes, I am suspicious about the money, since there is no Ticketmaster/Telecharge involvement."
Not sure what you mean by "sponsor". If it is a group sales thing, I know they are processing refunds. My friend is working from home doing refunds. I looked on one group sales site and there is a notice about refunds. Maybe instead of making a blanket type statement about shows keeping money, be a bit more specific about how you got your tickets. (Which you did after your initial comments). JMO
