Can this please happen? I think she may be a bit long in the tooth for the film, but would love to see her do it in the park.

She was approached to do it in the 80s, and she accepted but withdrew suddenly. That's why Ellen Foley played it.

I'd love to see it. A great idea! She's done everything from pop to dance to blues so I'm sure she has the range for it, and I think she'd look perfect too.

Her acting in The Threepenny Opera in '06 was stunning. I'm sure she could pull this off. If not her, I'm always up for good ol' Maria Friedman. Cast her as Dot in Sunday, cast her as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney, just CAST her.
