Spike Lee is in negotiations to direct, and Will Slap is producing.

Sounds fun! Majors is amazing in the new Rocky movie.

This could also generate a lot of annoying thinkpieces about needing camaraderie in the Broadway community and understudies being vital and needing to erase competition... etc.

He is a magnificent talent and I’m looking forward to this (especially given the names involved). This project could very well be inspired by All About Eve but it’s nice to have a fresh perspective.
