When the DANCIN' revival happens, are there any specific dancers you want to see in it?

How strong of a dancer is Krysta Rodriguez? Meaning, how was she in "Chorus Line"? Could she handle "Dancin'"?

would either nicole fosse or ann reinking step into the show at all? i know they are choreographing but ann stepped into "fosse" for the dvd....

Would love to see Jeffry Denman make a return to Broadway...

Don't think this is the right show for him, but I think he could work as a featured performer.

Otherwise...

David Eggers, Vince Pesce, Joyce Chittick (The steam heat team from Pajama Game), Jeffry Schechter.

I'd love to see Jeffrey Schecter in Dancin'. Also, I think Krysta Rodriguez might set some kind of record if she's in Dancin'. She's been in 4 Broadway shows already, and I think she's 23 or 24? Someone confirm this.

Yeah, Krysta is 23 and is in her 4th Broadway show. I think she's gotten more work in the shortest amount of time than any young person on Broadway this year.

Thanks for the info, jake6970. I wonder what kind of record that is. Perhaps an actor of her age has done it before, but I'm sure it's very rare.

Being that the original Broadway production ran over 1000 performances, I'm surprised that there was never a recording. Even with the number of different contributors... after all, Fosse and Contact got recordings. Or was there a recording of Dancin' on LP that I'm not aware of?

Who said that????? I think thousands of people would want to see her do that. But in my opinion, the chances of that happening are ZERO.

Sadly no cast recording was ever made.

A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

I really hope they give Rachelle Rak a lot of material to perform, she started with so little in FOSSE, and at the end they gave her a lot to perform. I hope they start her big from the beginning in this show.
I would love to see Megan Sikora in this, her dancing in APPLAUSE was out of the world (not to mention her marvelous singing and inspired acting), and that was with Kathleen Marshall's uninspired choreography, imagine what she would do with FOSSE.

When DANCIN! opened, I absolutley loved it. I thought it was an electrifying evening of theatre and fell in love with Anne Reinking, who I also saw in Chicago, Pippin and Chorus Line.

When Fosse opened I was hoping to capture some of that earlier excitement I experienced at DANCIN! Unfortunately, I was bored for nearly the entire production, even when they brought in Anne Reinking and Ben Vereen. This time, I plan on sitting this one out and will always think back fondly on the original DANCIN!

I just realized how 'old' I sound...egads!!

once a month -- if you claim to have a love for the woman, at least get her name right. Her name is ANN Reinking, not Anne.

Also, Nicole Fosse no longer dances and Reinking is no longer of the caliber of what is required for DANCIN'. Remember, she was part of the original Broadway cast of DANCIN', a good 30 years ago.

Her responsibility of being the torch carryer for all things related to Bob Fosse's work (along with curator Nicole Fosse), is where her talent lies now.
