I could probably see him as Freddy Eynsford-Hill in My Fair Lady.
And I do agree with those who think he'd be a good vacation cover for Daniel Radcliffe in H2$ (On the extremely off-chance that became a reality, H2$ would become a very "Potter-fied" show.

For those doubters see A very potter musical or sequel! Don't judge his performance on Glee.
For a non-musical, I'd cast him as Clifford in Deathtrap.
Just watched a bit of A Very Potter Musical. Boy cannot sing. He is a great actor, though. He's going to be film star. Calling it.
too short, calling it.
I have nothing against short boys, they can be cute but leading man ain't gonna happen, Radcliff is a rare example and I believe his future is character actor, which I believe he has the chops to pull off.
I was hoping for a quirkier cuteness for this role, like Telly.

Not sure what provocation's talking about or what Youtube videos they were watching, Darren Criss can definitely sing! He's got a really nice, unusual tone to his voice. Okay, he's no Philip Quast (who is...) , but he's pretty damn good. And he cleans up pretty nicely!
Apparently besides Criss' lead vocal, the others came from Tuft University's acapella group: http://twitter.com/tuftsbubs
