Darren's single "Teenage Dream" just became the most popular single in the history of "Glee." For a franchise that has more #1's than The Beatles, this is a pretty big deal. Also, he just got added as a series regular. Like it or not, he is going to be a household name now. University of Michigan is feeling pretty happy to add him to the alumni list.

I agree with the idea of him in How to Succeed. Maybe as a replacement/vacation cover for Radcliffe?
"Like it or not, he is going to be a household name now."
It certainly depends on the household. I wouldn't call ANY of the Glee cast members "household names"

I dunno. I see that Lee Michelle and the lesbian from that dog movie on a lot of stuff now.

I tend to agree with the "household name" status when one or, on an even more rare occurrence, both of my parents have an idea of who that name is. Jane Lynch stands a chance of being there, as I could probably get them to identify her pretty easily with a simple "she was also in this" statement. I don't think there is anyone else on that show I could do that with for either of my parents.
But a household name shouldn't need a "she was also in this" statement. There are very few household names on TV.

Well that's why I said "stands a chance" in regards to my parents recognizing her (and thus my feelings that in no way are any of the younger cast members household names). And there are definitely actors who are still on television, or really made their careers there, who are household names (by the "my parents can identify them" test).
Link in Hairspray.
Prob one of the best debuts EVER on national TV - in the history of Television..
this guy is a star - and was promoted to series regular so he's the real deal...
He'll be a household name in the next few months. Mark. My. Words.
Um are my eyes deceiving me or did i just see some brilliant mind on here suggest that this kid play "Coalhouse Walker?" Really? Really?!!? That must have been a joke right? Tell me you were joking.

Oh please- suggesting he play Coalhouse Walker is not nearly as funny as saying "one of the best debuts EVER on national TV - in the history of Television."

I think you've got me there that "History of Television" bit had me envisioning some awesome performers rolling over in their graves. Judy anyone?
I think that we all know that "the best debut EVER on national TV" was Robbie Rist as Cousin Oliver on The Brady Bunch. Hands down.
Where can you buy the single? I have looked on Amazon and ITUNES and found nothing?

There is no way this guy is right for Finch in H2$. Hell, Daniel Radcliff is barely right for the part. If anything, he'd be more fit to do a show like American Idiot or RENT or something along those lines. Not a revival of a traditional classic 60's musical.
How short is he?

Forget about the four feet, let's hear about the eight inches.
Am still amazed at someone claiming his song wasn't "tweaked."
