seeing this thread made me happy! yes he's a good singer, glee just autotunes everyone. I DEFF recommend the potter musicals on youtube tho.

I can see him as fiyero, but it might not work vocally...but please put him in those tight pants! ok thanks

i can also see him as franki valli in jersey boys...anyone? dark eyes and locks? the voice? i think he can do it.

^I second Henry in n2n, Andrew Jackson, and AVPM/S on Broadway...

Might I also suggest Will in American Idiot, Roger in RENT, and even Antony in Sweeney...

But yeah, AVPM on Broadway might happen if the stars align... I know a ton of people are insterested in doing just so...

Nothing. Without autotune, his voice is god awful. Good for doing EPs and things like that, but his voice without enhancement is just not a Broadway voice. Listen to "Get Back to Hogwarts" in A Very Potter Musical. His voice is going all over the place.

Unless he crushes his nuts, there's no way he can get that high.

I really don't think AVPM/S are good enough to even be considered to be brought to Broadway, so let's drop that pipe dream. I do like his voice though. However, if he lasts a while on Glee, and then goes to Broadway, I can picture the marquee: "Starring Darren Criss from Glee!" Not that I mind or anything, but still...

Maybe we should wait a little long to determine that his life/career has changed.


(And can Glee hire ANYONE that looks the right age?)
