When I read John Lahr and Michael Feingold, I feel as if I am finally accessing the grown-ups table. Brantley is just a terrible writer. Maybe if Linda Emond had been titsier or blonder he would have written one of his patented love letters to her.
The only things Brantley writes well anymore are his pans and his love letters to blondes.
This review left me with nothing. It's like he needed another three days to think about it to formulate an opinion.

You're absolutely right. And the love letter would have been headlined: "Widow of a Salesman".

I am very excited now to see this on the 29th.
Financial Times is a rave, five out of five stars.

Flat out rave from Michael Feingold, the only critic who matters.
