Seemed high to me as well, but like I said, I have no idea and don't pretend to - lol. I guess the bottom line is - is no one really know except those negotiating salaries and the one cashing the checks!

Yeah, that's ridiculous. No one outside of NYC knows who Kelli O'Hara is. She is a theater actress. That''s it. She doesn't do movies or television. She does theater every or every other year. 20 grand? Ridiculous! She is married to a rich man with a very rich Father. She is doing just fine with their combined incomes.

Respectfully disagree. You don't get your name above the title on Broadway if producers don't think it sells tickets. Kelli is pulling down at least 20K.
Kelli was above the title?
Ben was probably making around *$5000-7500K weekly B4 his TONY WIN with that another *$5k or so now *$10-12,500 weekly as that bump was negotiated in his contract if he won and he did...as for Rachel she's probably now making around *$10k weekly with the TONY WIN! The rest of the kids cast is on a MFN Favored Nations Clause-meaning scale around $1861 weekly. Not so sure about the adults****All estimates as I'm not an expert or in the business just basing it on what I've heard from friends in the industry.

That's awesome. NOW she is making that. Not in her The Pajama Game or South Pacific days, though. Good for her! That is great for an actress who does only theater work.
It would be super cool if folks who don't know what they are talking about would suppress the urge to pretend like they do. Perhaps say "I would think..." or "I can't imagine" when you are guessing at a fact.

I completely agree. I am totally guessing that an actress who has won a Tony and been above the title in at least three Broadway musicals is pulling down at least 20K.

Nice work, bridges and king
Robbie, I think your numbers for Ben and Rachel are high. The current minimum is $1974, and I doubt any principal is making that. There is no such thing as a favored nation provision in the production (or most other) contracts.
Does anyone know what kind of contract the cast is on? It seems like most would be on a principal contract. I also find it highly unlikely that anyone in the cast is making Equity minimum, as very few actors in a musical make the true minimum because understudying, doing a speciality skill, being a fight or dance captain, and "extraordinary risk" add to each contract.
And if Jennifer Laura Thompson, a veteran with 2 decades of experience, a Tony nominee, and a lot of respect in the industry is only making minimum, she needs a new agent.

^For what reason would Will Roland or Kristolyn Lloyd be making over minimum?? (and probably Mike Faist too...)
Besides being principals, not sure why Kristolyn and Will would. Mike on the other hand got a Tony nomination and while I'm sure nobody is buying tickets because of that, that could warrant a raise or be given after negotiations.

The highly-inaccurate numbers being thrown around in this thread are mind boggling.

Is Jessie Mueller in that same league?

Kelli is at about 20k. Not 25k. And Jessie is nowhere near there. Facts are real, people.

It should be noted that virtually no one on a principal contract with a halfway decent agent is making minimum. How much over minimum is another story.

As a complete guess, I think Jessie is probably inching pretty close. My bet is that if she's not in the 20K club for Carousel, she's probably pretty darn close. And if she's not, she may need a new agent.

The person getting the star salary in CAROUSEL will be Renee Fleming.
