How exciting! I'm really looking forward to hopefully seeing this one early next year as long as it is still playing!
I didn't much care for it, but I'll be interested to see the effect of the reported changes during this extended break. Also curious to see if the Netflix taping will give any boost to the production once they open.

Curious, for those that have been purchasing tickets to shows, since reopening was announced. Are the ticket prices higher, lower or the same? Are any of the shows offering any type of discount? I would guess no.
Haven’t seen any discounts yet. But I think prices are pretty much the same.

I wonder how much of the opening of the stage show is tied to the Netflix release of the proshot, and if that's why they moved the opening up.

Nothing else is officially (re)opening on B'way in November, and it definitely should be safe enough by then. The decision to open in December was first made before B'way got the AOK from Cuomo and de Blasio, and I guess the producers felt like moving their dates up a month were feasible given how early most of the other shows are (reopening). However, this now gives people less time to see it on Netflix and potentially build up more demand before the Longacre opens again. We will see the results of this risk within months.

For some reason I thought Diana was going on Netflix in November originally and that it also moved up a month with the new opening date (facepalm). But yes you're right, I had also forgotten the date was announced before we had an official Broadway opening. It definitely makes sense to take advantage of Thanksgiving surge and stuff though.

I think with the last season of The Crown on Netflix and her would've been 60th birthday this summer having a lot of tributes and memorials: this musical is gonna benefit a lot. I think there's definitely an audience for it, more than it would've been just a year ago.

This whole show is terrible. It’s going to die a death. And to make things worse- they put it on Netflix to show how bad it is to the whole world.

interested to see how this show sells.
I don't see an in between with this one. Big hit from all the Prince Harry/markle interviews going on, or huge bust.
I mean the same team brought us Memphis and that might be one of the worst things I've seen so.... curious to see what they did here....
