@z5 said: "Also was there tonight, the drunk bitches were distracting, but I was happy they were thrown away from downstairs.

They were more than distracting, they were out of hand. Singing and dancing In their Seats and talking out loud. They were right next to us. Everyone around us kept asking them to shut up and they yelled back. It was ridiculous. The usher warned them twice then went to the back of the house and got more staff. Next thing we knew there was staff at each end of the row calling for the woman to get up NOW they were moving them. 2 of them left. One stayed. She finally realized her friends were not coming back and got up and shoved her way past me and my friend, yelling on the way. Don't know where they put them but they were outside at intermission.  I personally thanked the staff for taking care of it as it happened just as I was about to get up and ask if we could move or have them moved.

"

We were seated in the last row of the section the other night and could not believe what we were seeing go down. Throughout the first act we could hear the dialogue continuing in the lobby. I had never seen anything like it before.

This doesn't sound surprising to me at all. This is about the level of audience intelligence I would expect to be enjoying Disaster at this point. You'd have to be drunk, know nothing about theatre, and from NJ to enjoy that show.

I wasn't drunk, I know a lot about theatre, am not from NJ and I enjoyed the show.

I rushed this morning, and my friend and I were seated in the side orchestra. Great view! We both had a blast. It's not high-brow entertainment, I'll grant you that, but it achieves a fine level of silliness and manages to sustain it. My enjoyment was enhanced, I think, because I know all the songs from my misspent youth, so nostalgia kicked in. But I found Disaster genuinely entertaining with some great performances too. The matinee audience was well behaved, not drunk, and seemed to like the show a lot. My best wishes to the cast for a good run!

I was there yesterday afternoon too, I got two rush tickets at noon.

It was 6 hours, I don't even like to have sex and eat bacon for 6 hours.
