Wow, 11:30pm sure is late on a "school night". Many cabaret shows start at 6pm. Wouldn't they get a much larger attendance if they ran from 6pm to 7:20pm , so that everyone could get to their respective 8pm theaters on time?
just bought my ticket. my first time going can't wait!
Steven, incase you didn't know; kids don't have school in the summer.
I can not wait to see video of David Bologna!
Since David is going to be there, I would love if they did the Quitty Award for Most Overlooked Actor by the Tony Committee and if Frank Dolce won. So excited!
I'm so happy that DQ is back! Seriously one of the best broadway events ever!
Be sure to come check it out everyone, you will not be disappointed!!!!
Huh, I totally didn't realize that DQ is now going to have pre-assigned seating in this theatre? Interesting.

I bet it would be hard for people to get there that early from work.

Oh I'm glad of that. I hated having to stand in that huge hot crushing line for over an hour in order to grab a good seat (that wasn't already held by people who worked there) at the Zipper.
When I called today the woman said it was general. Hmmmm...
I ordered mine online and I have an assigned seat.
That does make more sense. I bet the lady on the phone was incorrect.

True, true. But it does suck if you've got a group trying to go and sit together, for the one person stuck putting all the tickets on his/her credit card.
I am though now intrigued by the post above that said phone orders are being told seating is general admission (?), because if I'm going to pay Telecharge $7 in fees on a $20 ticket for a seat in row C, I do not want to show up that night with my row C ticket and find out that seating is general, now *that* would suck.
as do i. i think i'm row G center section 2nd seat in from the aisle.
I bought mine over the phone to avoid surcharge and wasn't given a seat number.... better believe I'm calling back in the morning now! Wish I'd known sooner....
oooh I'm going to be there tomorrow...maybe I'll go!!!
Ok explain to me what "no drink min" means?
What's the atmosphere for this like....
I'm trying to convince my mom to go...But she's like I don't want to see anymore shows...I know it's not a broadway musical...
How could I convince her to go? She's afraid we're not going to have time to go out or anything else cuz we're already seeing 5 shows...
But this is rare opportunity for me. I want to see it!
Ok explain to me what "no drink min" means?
No drink minimum. You do not have to also buy drinks on top of your ticket price.
Oh ok so there are drinks? so this is a really casual thing with alcohol and stuff?
Sorry I just don't know what to expect. I just turned 21 so I want to go out and stuff and if I can get drinks there and watch it that would be awesome :)
When it was at the Zipper, they encouraged people to buy drinks and bring them in. Its super casual, and very fun.
Sweet! Just bought two 4th row tickets :)
SO Excited!!!
I have another question...
I'm seeing SHREK that night...will I have time to stage door after and then go to DQYNJ????
Shrek running time says 2 hrs 30 min with 15 min intermission.
So it ends roughly at 10:45...will I have time to meet some cast members after and then run to the Julia Miles theatre???

It will actually end around 10:30 (intermission is included in the 2hr 30 min run time).
If you want to meet Brian D'Arcy James, you going to cut it close. It takes him 30-45 minutes to get out of makeup. Otherwise, you should be fine.
I'm seeing Hair tonight, so the 10-plus block walk I have to make between shows is going to cut it real close for me.
