The closest I have seen to Adam doing comedy was in Cabaret. He was wonderful.

Don't even want to start thinking about Norb and Greg leaving July, but...
Jack Black as Freddy Benson..who else can see it? It will never happen, but, c'mon.

i*heart*singer, you do realize that Jack Black is better known for being a singer than an actor? He was doing Tenacious D before he got into film.

Not knowing too much about him (I'd heard a song or two, but that was about it) I saw him in a free concert at San Diego Comic-Con last year, and I was blown away at what fantastic stage presence he has, while still actually being a good singer (besides their normal fare, they did covers of some Queen and Who's Tommy songs).

I could actually see him doing a FANTASTIC job as Freddy. He can handle the part vocally, and I can imagine him just rocking out and having a blast with the character. His Great Big Stuff would be AMAZING.

I think EVERYONE has had the Jack Black idea, since sometimes it almost seems like Norbert is doing a Jack Black impression.

I think he would OWN the role. I would also love to see Hunter in role.

Something makes me think Sara Gettlefinger will be taking a leave from the show starting... mmm.. the 17th? in there? She's leaving to do another show for a few weeks and returning in late March.

I thought about Hunter Foster as Freddy...I'm not sure if he's got exactly the right style of comic acting for it but I'm sure he'd be able to give it a good go, and I'd want to see him do it!

My vote for Freddy when Norbert leaves is David Josefsberg. Granted, he'll be doing The Wedding Singer, but seriously... the man (besides Norbert) is absolutely perfect for the role.

Sara would make an AMAZING Christine Colgate. I really think she could do a great job in the role.

I agree that after Jonathan Pryce is done, they should move Greg Jbara up to Lawrence.

Freddy: Jack Black (great role for him)
Lawrence: Greg Jbara (not going to happen but it would be awesome to see)
Christine: Laura Marie Duncan
