I was just thinking of her yesterday and saying to a friend I hoped she would be back soon. One of the greatest stage actresses working today, I'm thrilled!!!!!!

This article is written kind of weirdly. Kathleen Turner has already scheduled her return to the stage. She is appearing in a world premiere play about the columnist and author Molly Ivins in Philadelphia starting next month.

I'm more anxious to see the performance she gives at the stage door. She was so outright nasty to people (not me) when I saw her after "The Graduate."

Kathleen Turner already has returned to the stage since The Graduate. She was in Charles Busch's play The Third Story in 2008.

HIGH will be premiered at the St. Louis Repertory Theatre, and is being advertised as "Pre-Broadway Run Starring Kathleen Turner"

It opened last week. A vast improvement over Looped. The part is tailor-made for Turner, with Michael Berresse (as a priest!) and Evan Jonigkeit as a hustler/drug addict rounding out the cast to make for a very compelling ensemble. Well worth the trip.

How can the St. Louis Rep. Theatre claim their production starting October 13 is a "World Premier" when the Hartford TheatreWorks production which began July 2 is also referred to as a "World Premier"?

Good question. A world premier is a world premier, and this one was in CT.
