Dancin’ Rush

Hello! Avid reader here and always appreciate the news, reviews and show recommendations. I’m headed to NYC this weekend and would like to see Dancin’. Has anyone done the in person rush?  Could you offer any info on what time the line typically starts & seat locations? I see there is also telecharge rush, could anyone report on their experience? Thanks!

They have in-person and digital rush, the latter starting one hour after the in person rush.

I've gotten seats all over - from Left Orchestra B to Right Mezzanine D.

Truthfully, unless you are right up front in the first row on the extreme sides, you will really have no issue enjoying the show from any vantage point. Personally, I liked being closer because I think the orchestrations are so good that I like to FEEL it in my body as they dance (Specifically during the "Sing Sing Sing" and "Big Deal" suites)

I can't speak on rush, but I won the Telecharge Lottery for a weekend performance! My seat was in the very first row - center orchestra. It was amazing being so close to see the intricacies of the choreography (and unlimited legroom), but I missed some footwork/floorwork at times. Amazing value for $40. 

My friend did TKTS and had a rear mezzanine seat for about $60.

I got row K orchestra, 4 seats off to the side, through the in person rush. It was a great seat.

Thanks for your responses! Will also try the lottery. Could you give me a suggested time to arrive at the box office for in person rush? I’m looking to go Saturday for the matinee.

I got my ticket for a Saturday evening at around 10:10. I’d already bought my rush ticket next door for Bad Cinderella.

Front mezz row E. First seat in section 4, great view.
