He's a young actor on DeGrassi High, a TV show.
Keep up Dolly!
He was at a callback for the show and I didn't put two and two together to realize that he was on degrassi. so weird. He was the only guy there, everyone else was auditioning for the female cover. He was reading for Melchior.
Ahhh! Daniel Clark! I can't imagine him in Spring Awakening - I'd have to see this.

Oh my.
They'd have to work on his accent.
"ABOOT" is out
"ABOUT" is in.
I like him.
I love DEGRASSI.
I just don't know.
I'd have to see it to be more open to it.

Daniel Clark actually does not have an accent. A lot of the kids do, but he's from Chicago, and he says "about" and "sorry".
And, to whomever said "what's Degrassi?", I pity you.

Haha.
And yeah, some of the kids are American, but they make them say "sorry" and "about" to be true to their setting in the show.
I don't think Daniel would technically be considered 'stunt casting'. He's not a big enough name to bring in busloads of people to the show, thought he may bring down some Canadians.
I don't think any of us really know whether or not he can sing. So, who knows. If this happens, it happens. It wouldn't be the worst casting ever.
"And yeah, some of the kids are American"
Which ones?

Sorry, scratch that, I could've sworn Miriam McDonald was American.
It's just Daniel Clark
Who does he play on Degrassi? I'm a fan of the show, but I don't remember whitch one he is.
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu

Sean Cameron. Resident bad boy.
Ah, yes. Thanks.
Hmmm... I cannot see him as Melchior.

Wow, this was bumped up after a long time haha. Shows that people know how to use the search!
Anyways, is this still a rumor?
i didn't realize spring awakening had bad acting; is there anyone in particular who isn't up to par with the acting, any of the leads i mean?
Who said anything about Spring Awakening having bad acting?
I'm pretty sure he was in Beauty and the Beast as Chip when he was younger. Tour, maybe Broadway.
i could not imagine him as moritz, only melchoir..and who knows if he even has a voice?
like any of you guys could do any better. i think the casting directors know better than you all, sorry.
"i think the casting directors know better than you all, sorry."
You obviously never saw Drew Tyler Bell as Hanschen.
I think he and the chick who plays Hazel like did singing at a ball game, national anthem stuff or something.
Did this rumor emerge before or after the SA/Degrassi talkback? If you're going to make up something, at least pick someone more interesting than Sean, like Marco as Hanschen.
I saw Adamo on Third Ave. you never know! haha
