I'm intrigued by Ferland, but if Kennedy's Witch is ANYTHING like her Evita, she will be BORING to the max.

I dunno. I think both are reason enough to see it-it's not like there's a dearth of actresses out there who could have played the role.

Lauren Kennedy is at the top of my list for ANY role. I've never been to Baltimore before but betyourass I'm heading there for this.

When I first read the article title, I though Ferland was playing the Witch, and Kennedy was playing Cinderella. I was surprised to find out I was wrong. Would love to see this, though.

I sincerely believe that Ferland has a chance of being one of the few Bakers Wives that could match Joanna Gleason in sheer funniness in the role. Brilliant casting!

I work at Center Stage and this is an incredibly exciting production! Can't wait for Kennedy's Witch...She's amazing!

Ferland will probably be amazing as the Baker's Wife, but I'd be so happy if she was playing the Witch instead of Kennedy, I think Ferland's wicked sense of humor would be wonderful for the Witch, but I'm sure she could play the role later in her career.

Ferland as Baker's Wife will probably be fantastic. Would have been cool if they got Ben Wright to play the Baker.

Speaking of, did ANYTHING come of that Ben Wright project thing. I know people were intrigued that he showed up again.......but then, he was gone again. Can't even find any follow ups to what he did with the showcase thing he produced.

Just wondering.

I saw Lauren Kennedy in Spamalot. The Lady of the Lake role with its diva-ishness is similar to the Witch in Into the Woods.

Lauren wasn't very good in Spamalot.

I can totally see Kennedy doing a great Witch. I think she'll be just perfect. Ferland as Baker's Wife? I'd fly over to see it if I weren't in the poorhouse. I wish!

For some reason, I never thought of Ferland as the Baker's Wife. I have been so stuck on the idea of her playing Jack's Mother because I think she would be hilarious! But now I realize, the Baker's Wife is freakin' hilarious, too!

I really want to go on a road trip to see this.

Aaah! I can't believe we're getting both of these wonderful ladies in the show here in Baltimore! I saw a few months ago that Center Stage was doing it but had no idea they would get the likes of Lauren Kennedy. And I haven't seen Danielle Ferland in anything besides the dvd of ITW OBC, so I can't wait to see/hear her now!
