Well, perhaps there's been an Anne Heche-esque conversion, but a couple of years ago during the run of "Play About the Baby" (and even before that when he was in "Beautiful Thing") I was friends with his boyfriend at the time and used to hang out with both of them regularly. David wasn't closeted in the least then (or if he was, it's sort of odd he'd be out several times a week with a boyfriend at a couple of very popular area gay bars, usually hours at a time). Can't speak for whatever's going on with him these days, but I wish him well. He's pretty talented and hopefully he'll get a solid gig after "Gypsy" closes at the end of the month.

Wow, someone's really testy.... and I really hope that comment wasn't directed at me. My reply was very tongue in cheek. there is such a thing as bisexual...then again, kate has this weird thing with calling everyone her boyfriend (i.e. sam mendes, etc.), so maybe the person i heard it from was misunderstood.
